The Nature Conservancy at the Disney Wilderness Preserve features two grid-connected photovoltaic systems totaling 6.5 kW. The two systems were installed to promote renewable energy technologies at the Disney Nature Conservancy conservation and learning center located in Kissimmee, Florida. The buildings were officially opened to the public in October 1999.
