Online Home Energy Check
This Web-based energy check enables you to quickly answer common questions regarding your energy usage and provides a full range of personalized recommendations for managing your energy costs. You will receive specific recommendations for your household with detailed approaches for better managing your energy use and saving money. Phone Assisted Energy Check
A Progress Energy expert will contact you by phone to discuss your home and appliance use. Our experts will send you a detailed report that includes energy saving recommendations based on your answers. The report will provide an energy analysis of your appliance use and a graph of your monthly billing history including weather data.  Many of the recommendations will be no-and-low cost actions you can take to reduce your electric bill. Do-It-Yourself Mail-In Energy Check
Receive energy-saving recommendations customized for your home when you participate in our free Do-It-Yourself Mail-In Energy Check. After you complete and return the survey, you will receive your customized energy report in the mail. It's based on your answers and includes an analysis of your home's electric billing history and the electric consumption of your appliances. Walk-Through Home Energy Check
A free energy inspection is conducted at your home by a Progress Energy representative. The representative will survey your home's insulation, duct work, water heating, cooling and heating systems and overall efficiency. You'll then be provided with energy-saving recommendations and practices and other cost-effective energy-saving measures.
