You can pay your Progress Energy bill over the phone or via the Internet with EasyPay, a convenient payment option through a third-party vendor, EasyPay Powered by Siebel.

To make a payment with EasyPay, visit PE Florida EasyPay Business or call toll-free 866-374-5376. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or by electronic check.  Non-residential credit card payments are limited to $10,000 per transaction and $20,000 per billing period.

To pay your bill, you will need your Progress Energy account number and mailing zip code. The payment plus a $12.95 convenience fee, charged by EasyPay, will be reflected on your banking or credit card statement.

You give out no more information than you do every time you use a regular paper check or order something with a credit card.
