Step 4: Execute Interconnection Agreement: Sign the document that establishes terms and conditions for interconnecting your renewable generator to Progress Energy's system.
Once the interconnection application is reviewed and approved (Step 2), an Interconnection Agreement will be prepared by Progress Energy that describes the conditions of interconnection which are specific to the project. This document must be signed and returned to Progress Energy. Once all parties execute the agreement, a copy will be mailed back to the customer. Below is a sample Interconnection Agreement.
