Step 2. Apply for Interconnection: Gather technical information on your renewable system and complete a request to interconnect with Progress Energy.
Progress Energy requires specific information from the customer including site information, renewable generator specifications and other technical data in order to process a request for interconnection. Customers must complete the "Interconnection Request" located below. Send the completed request, an inverter manufacturer's cut-sheet of the proposed system, and a $100 non-refundable processing fee to:

Once your Interconnection Request and fee are received, a Progress Energy representative will contact you within three business days to confirm receipt of your request.
