Looking for ways to save money on your energy bills? With Progress Energy’s new Home Energy Improvement Program, you can get cash rebates to help you make your home more energy efficient. The increase in energy savings you’ll gain will reduce your energy bills for years to come. Plus, by improving your home’s efficiency, you’ll increase its overall comfort, add to its value and, because you’ll be using less energy, you’ll also be helping the environment.

  • Repair must be completed by a Progress Energy prequalified contractor
  • Must be a Progress Energy customer

As prequalified contractors are approved into the program, work performed after the approval date is eligible for a rebate.  Work installed prior to a prequalified contractor receiving approval into the program is not eligible for a rebate.

After you mail the rebate form, invoice and any other required documentation per the rebate form to Progress Energy, rebate checks will be processed and mailed within four to six weeks of the request.

Home Energy Improvement rebate applications are valid for 90 days after the improvements are completed.  After 90 days, the improvements are no longer eligible for rebates from Progress Energy.
