Are you a Progress Energy Carolinas customer considering solar photovoltaic (PV) panels for your business, institution, or organization?

Progress Energy's commercial PV program may be an option. We've developed a program that will provide a guaranteed payment for solar energy produced from eligible PV systems installed on commercial rooftops. Once you've met with a solar panel installer to determine your site's solar feasibility and have received an equipment and installation estimate, submit the application form to be considered for acceptance into the program.

Projects that are accepted will receive an incentive of 18 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for solar electricity produced. Establishing a standard incentive program provides pricing certainty to help our customers better plan their solar projects.

Progress Energy is committed to expanding the use of renewable and alternative energy. Combined with tax incentives, this program may help to bring solar within reach for more of our customers.
